Come Experience the Farm

Screaming Goat Funny Farm is a small boutique farm in Belton, Texas, offering peaceful, personal farm experiences for families, schools, groups, and special celebrations.

Our goal is not to welcome the most visitors—it is to have the happiest animals and guests. Our animals are never required to perform or interact. Instead, guests are invited to slow down, explore the farm, and spend time with the animals that choose to visit.

The farm is private property, and all visits require an advance reservation. We do not offer regular walk-in hours.

Petting Farm Visits

Our self-guided Petting Farm Visit gives your family time to explore the designated guest areas of the farm at your own pace.

Depending on which animals are outside and feeling social, you may meet our Highland cows, donkeys, alpaca, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, poultry, and other farm friends.

This experience is not a guided tour. Farm staff will welcome you, explain the rules, and help you get started, but your group will explore independently.

Animal participation varies daily. We cannot guarantee that a particular animal will be available unless arranged in advance.

Private Guided Farm Tours

Want to learn more about the animals and life behind the scenes? Reserve a Private Farm Tour.

During this guided experience, a member of our farm family will introduce you to the animals, share their stories, and explain how we care for them. If there is a particular animal you hope to meet, let us know when booking.

Private tours begin at $75 for groups of up to 10 people.

Larger groups may be accommodated with advance arrangements.

Educational Field Trips

Our field trips allow children to learn through movement, play, and hands-on farm experiences.

Students may meet the animals, learn how different animals contribute to a farm, practice age-appropriate farm chores, play games, groom animals, and enjoy lunch or free time in our open spaces.

Field trips are available for:

• Preschools and daycares

• Elementary and middle schools

• Homeschool groups

• Special education programs

• Church and community groups

Field trips are $8 per student. Teachers attend free.

Standard field trips may last up to four hours. Families and additional adults may be charged separately. Groups are welcome to bring sack lunches and eat at the farm.

Before You Visit

Screaming Goat Funny Farm is a working farm. Guests should expect uneven ground, dirt, mud, rocks, insects, and free-roaming farm animals.

For everyone’s safety:

• Children must remain with a responsible adult.

• Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.

• Do not enter animal enclosures without permission.

• Do not chase, pick up, ride, or feed animals unless instructed.

• Only approved food may be given to the animals.

• Drive no faster than 10 mph on the property.

• The main house, porches, garage, and private areas are off-limits.

• Visiting pets are not allowed unless approved as part of a lodging reservation.

• All guests must follow instructions provided by farm staff.

Animals are unpredictable, and interaction is never guaranteed. We reserve the right to limit or end an interaction when necessary to protect an animal or guest.
