Yes. Screaming Goat Funny Farm is located on private property and is open by reservation only. Please do not arrive without a confirmed appointment or event reservation.

We occasionally hold public events, but our everyday farm visits are private and must be scheduled in advance. Upcoming public events are announced on our website and social media pages.

A Petting Farm Visit is a relaxed, self-guided experience. Guests may visit the animals that are out, social and available that day.
A Private Farm Tour is a guided, behind-the-scenes experience that includes animal introductions, farm information and more personal interaction.

We cannot guarantee that every animal will be available. Our animals are never forced to interact or perform. Weather, health, comfort and each animal’s mood determine who participates.

Please feed animals only when instructed. Some animals may be offered approved treats, but cows, pigs and rabbits should not be hand-fed. Never bring processed foods or feed an animal without permission.

Guests may not enter or open animal pens unless specifically invited and accompanied by a farm representative.

Our farm may be used for birthday parties, showers, family celebrations, reunions, graduations, small weddings, receptions, school and church gatherings, team-building activities, private dinners and other special occasions.

Yes. You are welcome to decorate during your reserved time. Setup and cleanup must take place within your reserved rental period unless additional time has been arranged in advance.

Yes, outside food and catering are generally allowed. Please discuss your plans with us before the event, especially if you will need kitchen, refrigerator or electrical access.

Alcohol may be permitted for approved private events. Our dry-bar service may also be available. Additional requirements, including security, may apply depending on the event and how alcohol will be served.

Yes. Animal visits, a mobile-style petting experience, Mini Pearl as a Flower Highland and Opal as a Beer Burro may be available as add-ons. Animal participation depends on the weather, location and each animal’s comfort.

Yes. Our field trips combine hands-on learning, animal interaction, farm-themed games, grooming activities and room for students to play and explore.

We welcome preschools, elementary and middle-school groups, homeschool organizations, daycares and specialized programs. Activities can be adjusted for the age, size and needs of the group.

Yes. Groups are welcome to bring sack lunches and enjoy a picnic at the farm. Food must remain in the designated eating area and should never be fed to the animals.

Yes. Schools and organizations are responsible for providing enough adults to supervise their students. Children must remain with their assigned group and follow all farm rules.

Yes. We offer mobile animal experiences for schools, churches, nursing homes, private parties, corporate events, weddings and community gatherings.

The animals vary based on the event, weather, travel distance and available space. A typical mobile experience may include goats, a rabbit, an alpaca and a cow. Specialty appearances may include Mini Pearl, our Highland cow, or Opal, our donkey.

Animals must have a level, safe area with adequate shade and access to fresh water. We will discuss surface, parking, setup access and space requirements before confirming the event.

Yes. We bring the necessary animal pens and complete the setup and breakdown. A canopy may be available when needed, but the host is still responsible for ensuring the location provides appropriate conditions.

This is a working farm with grass, gravel, dirt, rocks, mud and uneven ground. Some areas may be difficult for wheelchairs or strollers. Please contact us before your visit so we can discuss your needs and help determine the most accessible option.

Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. Wear comfortable clothing that can handle dirt, grass, animal hair and changing weather conditions.

Our animals are friendly and accustomed to people, but every animal is unpredictable. Some are large, have horns or sharp teeth, jump, pinch or may become excited around food. Children must remain under adult supervision at all times and everyone must follow staff instructions.

Yes. Our farm dogs may be outside and may greet visitors. Please do not pick them up, chase them, feed them or bother them while they are eating or resting.

Restroom availability depends on the experience, event location and other reservations taking place that day. Please confirm restroom access before your visit.

Many experiences are held outdoors and may continue in light rain or normal Texas weather. Severe weather, extreme heat or unsafe conditions may require changes, rescheduling or the removal of certain animals from an experience.
Animal safety always comes first. Rabbits and other heat-sensitive animals may not participate during high temperatures.

Most parties, private events, mobile services and specialty animal appearances require a nonrefundable deposit to reserve the date. Your proposal or booking confirmation will explain the amount and payment schedule.

The Bunkhouse may be available for overnight stays. It is a private apartment located inside the barn and includes a king bed, twin bed, sofa bed, full kitchen, dining area, bathroom, heating and air conditioning.

Yes. The Bunkhouse is part of the farm experience and is located inside an active barn building. Guests may hear animals, farm activity and the normal sounds of country life.

Internet and cellular service can be unreliable in the country, and television may not be available. The Bunkhouse is best suited for guests who want to unplug and enjoy a relaxed farm stay.
